AKtive Learning provides one-on-one, at-home, A+ tutoring to students in grades K-12 in the New York City area.  Our clients attend public and private schools, including Ramaz, Chapin, Horace Mann, Xavier, Anderson, Baruch, Brooklyn Tech, Stuyvesant, and F.H.La Guardia.  As opposed to a typical 'assembly-line' tutoring agency, we take great care in

assessing your child's academic needs, learning style

and personality. Only then do we match your child with

the tutor best suited to bring out his or her full potential.

If you desire, we will maintain correspondance with your

child's teachers and/or school administrators throughout

the term.

graduates whose academic expertise is matched by their patience, approachability, and their personal dedication to the success of each child they tutor.  We specialize in most academic subjects, as well as many of the standardized tests and entrance exams your child will encounter during his or her academic careers in NYC (see SUBJECTS page).
